Flaxseed, Eucalyptus oil, Lemon oil, Clove oil, Cardamom oil
Care Instructions:
To maintain the therapeutic benefits of your Flaxseed Flu Bag, you can refresh its fragrance by spritzing it with FLAXi Flu & Cold Refresher Mist or adding 1-3 drops of Pure Eucalyptus Essential Oil onto the fabric. The flaxseed will absorb the oil, renewing the bag’s fragrance and enhancing its effectiveness.
Please note that the bag’s fragrance may gradually diminish over time. To clean the outside of the bag, use a damp sponge and avoid immersing it in water. We recommend replacing your Flaxseed Flu Bag annually for optimal benefits, although it can last for several years with proper care.
After use, allow the bag to cool down before storing it in an airtight container or sealed bag to preserve its fragrance and extend its lifespan.
How to use the Flaxseed Flu Bag
To alleviate congestion, a heated Flaxseed Flu Bag can be used as a hot compress. To warm up the bag, place it in the microwave for 30-second intervals until it reaches a comfortable temperature. Once it’s warm, gently place the bag on your chest for quick relief.
Caution: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, refrain from using this product. Overheating the pillow in the microwave can cause scorching if it’s heated for too long. If you detect a burning smell, it has overheated, and you should allow it to cool and dispose of it properly. If you have a significant medical condition and are unsure about using essential oil therapy, it’s best to consult with your doctor before use.
